Privacy & community guidelines

Your membership and profile

Your first eligible sign-in after your provider verifies your identity creates an active MCOSA membership automatically. Existing eligible records are connected using your authenticated email. No routine owner approval is required. Historical identity conflicts and suspended accounts remain protected and require individual assistance. Known disposable-email domains are not eligible. Your profile is visible to signed-in members; you can change its visibility in your profile settings.

Signed-in members can see directory names, company, title, biography, location, profile photo, shared links, and member group. Members may optionally share a separate contact email and phone. Email addresses are available to the individual member, site owner, and any separately authorized operations reader, not the general directory. Original imported records remain restricted to the owner. You can hide your directory profile in My profile. RSO roster labels reflect source membership lists and do not certify current qualifications.

Inquiries and email

Messages sent to info@mcosa.group are forwarded to site owner Matt Hill’s inbox for a response. Your message and contact details are used to handle your inquiry.

The contact form collects your name, email, optional company and phone, topic, and message for responding to your inquiry. These details are stored privately for MCOSA administration and are not visible to ordinary members or public visitors. Submitting an inquiry does not create membership, subscribe you to marketing, or register you for an event. No automatic receipt email is sent to you. A limited administrative notification is saved for Matt Hill and Christopher Blanton, but email delivery is not connected yet. Contact the organizers to request correction or removal. A hashed network identifier is used temporarily to limit automated submissions.

Event registrations

Online event entries are stored privately for site administration. We collect the contact, participation, sponsorship, payment preference, and signed release details you submit. Registration does not collect card details or automatically subscribe you to marketing. No automatic receipt email is sent; save the on-screen receipt. Contact MCOSA to correct or cancel an entry.

Administrative notifications and read-only operations

New inquiries, inquiry-status changes, event entries and sponsorships, registration or payment-status changes, eligible membership activations, profile changes, email-preference changes, and the fact that a report was submitted for owner review create limited administrative notifications. These contain the type of update, a record reference, time, and relevant event, sponsorship amount or status. They do not include free-text messages, private conversations, passwords, authentication or reset links, card details, or signed releases. Reports include only a reference, never a reported conversation, target, reason or reporter. Report details and moderation stay with the owner. Existing records are not forwarded. Queued, provider-accepted, and confirmed-delivered messages are tracked separately; email delivery is not currently connected.

A separately authorized operations reader can view member and contact details, public inquiries, event entries, sponsorship and payment-status records, and operational summaries. This permission does not allow private conversations, original import files, sign-in/session data, bulk exports, messages, record changes, moderation, security settings, or website changes. Each operational view is logged. The role is prepared, but Christopher Blanton has not been granted access; activation requires Matt’s confirmation and a verified account.

Conversations and owner access

Every listed record has an automatic site owner connection to Matt Hill. This identifies the administrative relationship, not a connection request accepted by the member. Eligible members can message the owner immediately after activation. Messages sent by the owner to an unclaimed record stay in the site until that person claims the record. Identity conflicts remain subject to review.

Direct conversations are visible to the participants and site owner Matt Hill. The owner can review all member records, original imports, connection activity, forum posts, and direct messages for administration, support, and moderation. Administrative record and conversation views are logged. Hiding your profile does not hide your records from the owner.

Messages and forum activity are stored with this site. Site administrators do not receive your sign-in password. Your sign-in provider handles account recovery. Contact MCOSA if a membership record must be corrected, linked to a different verified email, or removed.

Photos, videos, and events

Event information is public. Memories photos and videos are available only to active, signed-in members and the owner. Files uploaded to this site are stored privately, and membership is checked when a file is requested. Linked Google Photos albums open outside this site and follow Google Photos sharing settings; anyone with a forwarded shared-album link may be able to view it. The owner manages uploads, captions, visibility, and source evidence. Please do not redistribute member media without permission. Contact MCOSA to request review or removal of an image or video.

Member photos and sharing

You can upload a profile photo and share photos, links, posts and replies with signed-in members. The photo uploader resizes images and removes embedded location metadata. Upvotes are counted; saved posts are personal bookmarks. Photos and posts can be moderated by the owner. Your sign-in credentials remain with your provider.

Member conduct

Be respectful. Share accurate information, protect other members' personal details, and keep discussions relevant to MCOSA. Do not post harassment, threats, spam, or another person's private contact details. Follow range rules and qualified in-person instruction. Forum replies are community discussion and do not establish instructor qualifications.

Use Report to owner on a member, post, reply, or message to request review. Members can remove connections and block other members. The owner can hide content, close discussions, and suspend member access. Removed posts remain available to the owner for moderation.

Communications and corrections

Membership includes MCOSA event invitations and community updates. Change your email preference in your profile at any time. Existing email-service unsubscribes, bounces, and spam complaints take priority over automatic enrollment. Email preferences are stored on MCOSA and queued for synchronization with Wix. Email unsubscribe preferences do not remove your ordinary membership access. New posts and private messages are available inside the site and are excluded from administrative email notifications. Password recovery stays with the sign-in provider; members alone choose and submit their new password.
